In-depth Analysis Of The Automotive Interior Industry Chain

- May 18, 2018 -

Automotive interiors are two types of automotive interior parts that have a certain degree of decorative and functional, safety, and engineering properties, as well as automotive interior modifications.

The automotive interior system is an important part of the car body, and the design workload of the interior system accounts for more than 60% of the vehicle's design workload, far exceeding the car's appearance, and is one of the most important parts of the car body.

The car seat is generally composed of a seat frame, functional parts (slide rails, recliners, lifters, etc.), skins, foamed plastic fillings, and plastic accessories.

Skeleton: Long fiber reinforced thermoplastics, magnesium alloys, rolled profiles, steel plates, etc.

Sponge cushion: PU, etc.

Masks: natural animal skin or PVC leather, PU leather, ultra-fine fiber super-real leather, PET fiber, flannel, etc.

Exterior: Polyurethane, etc.

Adjust handles: PBT/ABS, PA, POM, PC/PBT, PC/ABS, etc.

Seat belt: PET fiber, etc.

Process flow: The preparation of car seats is mainly the manufacture and assembly of skeletons, sponge foams, and masks. The overall production process is shown in the figure below. PU foam cushions for seats generally use a foam molding process. The seat cushion can be molded by thermal vulcanization or cold vulcanization.
