The causes of forklift starters and motors are often broken:
1. After the meshing, the starter idles. It indicates that the one-way meshing device is slippery or damaged, the damping spring is broken, the rotor is rubbed against the stator, and the magnetic field coil or the armature coil winding has a partial short circuit.
2. The operation is slow and weak. In addition to the low temperature, the lubricating oil is thicker, the resistance is large, and the battery capacity is insufficient. The main reason is that inside the starter machine, the armature and the magnetic pole may be rubbed, the excitation or the armature winding may be partially short-circuited due to the loose bearing. The brush is excessively worn, the brush spring pressure is insufficient, the line contact is poor, the brush contact resistance is too large, and the commutator surface is ablated or dirty.
3. The magnetic wheel and the flywheel magnetic ring are not properly meshed. The flywheel ring gear is not properly meshed. The flywheel ring gear is deformed and broken, and the assembly is not proper, so that the center line of the gear and the ring gear are not parallel, and the electromagnetic switch's iron stroke is improperly adjusted.
4. The starting gear and the flywheel ring gear will not be disengaged. The gear surface is rough and the meshing is too tight, the drive device is stuck on the starting electromechanical pivot and the electromagnetic switch contacts are sintered.
5. The starter is running poorly and abnormally. If the starter is not well started in cold or hot cars, it proves that the fault is inside, the hot car starts well, the cold car starts to be weak, the cold and hot cars are idling, but the power is weak after the meshing, generally the battery is insufficient. Press the start button. If the starter does not turn, it should be released quickly to check for smoke and heat.
