The proper seat position is a prerequisite for the driver to maintain the correct driving posture. When the seat is not suitable, it should be adjusted in time. Nowadays, the driving seat design of many cars is very user-friendly. Considering the different body shape of the driver, it can be adjusted in many directions.
(1) Adjusting the front and rear of the seat Adjusting the front and rear position of the seat makes the distance between the body from the steering wheel, the clutch pedal, the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal suitable. It is convenient and quick to turn the steering wheel with both hands, and the two legs can be flexibly and flexibly. The adjustment method is as follows: lifting the adjustment handle on the lower right side of the seat to release the fixing device, the seat can be moved back and forth, and after the position is adjusted, the adjustment handle can be loosened to fix the seat, as shown in Figure 4-10.
(2) Adjusting the backrest angle Adjust the angle of the seat back so that the seat back supports the waist, and do not let the waist hang when leaning back, so that fatigue during driving can be reduced. The adjustment method is: rotate the adjustment knob on the left side of the seat, adjust according to your body, and tilt at most one or two segments. When adjusting, adjust the back tilt angle with the strength of the back, and adjust to the palm to hold the upper end of the steering wheel, as shown in Figure 4-11.
(3) Adjustment of the headrest height In order to better protect the driver's neck, the car seat headrest should be adjusted to a suitable position. There are two types of car seat headrests: manual adjustment and automatic adjustment. The manual adjustment can only adjust the height in one direction, while the automatic adjustment can automatically adjust in the two-dimensional direction. The adjustment method of the headrest is not complicated. The height of the headrest can be adjusted to be in line with the eyebrow. Too low is easy to cause head and neck injuries. The closer the distance between the hindbrain and the headrest, the better, preferably no more than 10cm. If it is an adjustable headrest with locking function, be sure to lock the position of the headrest after adjustment so as not to shift when it hits.
